We are exhibiting our building conservation skills and Winter Cover solution for garden statues and sculptures at the Historic Buildings, Parks & Gardens Event on 12 November 2024 (find us at stand number D33). We invite you to visit our stand to learn more about our services and products. The event will take place at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London, SW1P 3EE.
Our team members, each with a wealth of experience and expertise in the heritage sector, will join other heritage consultants at the event. Together we will provide advice, solutions, support, information and products and services for all aspects of the historic buildings, landscape conservation and heritage sector.
Custodians of historic houses and landscapes can see and learn more about the Cliveden Conservation Winter Cover, a reliable solution that protects outdoor statues, sculptures and decorative stonework from damage caused by freezing and wet weather. We will show you the cover’s three-layer system, which keeps moisture out and is windproof and waterproof. It also provides insulation and UV protection, ensuring your valuable outdoor art is safe and protected whatever the weather.
Visitors can learn more about our business, which covers stone restoration, decorative arts conservation and both lime and fibrous plasterwork. We will showcase various projects, from decorative plaster ceiling repair and wall painting conservation to sculpture restoration and stonemasonry. We will also highlight our specialist craft skills, which include stone carving, letter cutting, freehand modelling, gilding and casting.
Lewis Proudfoot, Managing Director of Cliveden Conservation, is expecting a busy and a successful event:
“The Historic Buildings, Parks & Gardens Event is a highly anticipated opportunity for us to meet people looking for conservation advice, and our peers and colleagues in the industry. With winter approaching, it is also an excellent time to raise awareness about Winter Covers. These covers protect valuable outdoor art from weather damage and costly repairs. We are eagerly looking forward to meeting attendees and discussing their projects in more detail.”
