Conservation Placement 2023 / Internship
Closing date: 27/01/2023 | Location: Taplow | Position: 6 month placement | Salary £11,000
This 6 month conservation placement is ideal for students looking to gain valuable work experience at a leading conservation company during or after their time at university. The role will primarily be focused on the exciting and unique Wren 300 project that Cliveden Conservation are fortunate enough to be partnering on.
This will involve administration and event planning for this year’s Wren 300 programme of events, of which Cliveden are putting on a number of conservation workshops at Wren inspired and designed venues.
As well as working on the Wren 300 project, the placement is designed to provide you with an holistic overview of what it is to work in conservation; working across departments and on a broad range of tasks at Cliveden Conservation.

Wren300 Conservation Assistant Volunteer
Location: Various churches in the City of London
As part of the tercentenary celebrations of the life and work of renowned architect, Sir Christopher Wren, Cliveden Conservation is offering a free programme of conservation workshops in the following elements: Metal, Glass, Stone, Wood, Plaster/Paint – plus a programme of digital building and object surveying in conjunction with Terra Measurements.
The programme is designed to raise awareness of both the significance of Wren – and his connection to the building of city churches following the Great Fire of London in 1666 – plus the current and future conservation requirements of his buildings and legacy. Individuals are required to become Wren300 Volunteer Conservation Assistants to support Cliveden Conservation in facilitating these workshops in a safe, proactive, and constructive way.

Due to a number of recent confirmed orders, Cliveden Conservation is looking to recruit experienced and improving heritage masons, plasterers, restorers and conservators for work on a number of secured projects.
