Buyer / Buying Administrator (Part-Time)

Location: Taplow, Buckinghamshire | 25–30 hours per week | Permanent | Competitive salary DOE plus excellent benefits

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Buying Administrator to join our Commercial Team and support the successful delivery of projects across the UK.
You’ll play an important role behind the scenes by purchasing materials, coordinating deliveries and supporting Project Managers to ensure our projects run smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Raising purchase orders and placing supplier orders
  • Obtaining quotations and comparing prices
  • Coordinating deliveries to projects
  • Maintaining accurate purchasing records
  • Supporting Project Managers and the Commercial Team
  • Building positive relationships with suppliers

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Previous administration experience (purchasing experience is an advantage but not essential)

Experience within construction, procurement or heritage is welcome but not essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative environment. Applicants must have unrestricted right to work in the UK.

Hours
This is a part-time role (25–30 hours per week) worked over five days. To support our operational teams and suppliers, the successful candidate will need to be available to either start at 8:00am or work until 5:00pm, with the exact working pattern agreed with the successful applicant.

Conservators Required

Location: All regions

We are looking for Senior Conservators to join our growing team. You will have proven experience in the conservation and heritage sector and ideally be ICON ACR accredited, or on the pathway to accreditation in the fields of stone, plaster, wall paintings or the decorative arts.

Our ideal candidate will be adept at undertaking condition surveys, report writing and delivering high standards of conservation work on site and in the workshop. You will be able to specify conservation interventions to objects and buildings alike.

As a Senior Conservator for Cliveden Conservation you will have a passion for conservation and be a self-motivated and proactive problem solver, who is capable of running a portfolio of projects from estimating and delivery, through to submission of treatment report
