Head of Conservation & Operations (East) – Maternity Cover
Location: Suffolk (Hybrid: office / site / home) | Position: 12 Months, Full-time, maternity cover
Cliveden Conservation is looking for an experienced, commercially minded leader to head up our East of England operations. This is a key role overseeing a growing portfolio of conservation and restoration projects across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge and beyond. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, manage live projects, drive new business, and maintain the high standards our reputation is built on. We’re looking for someone confident in project delivery, team leadership, budgeting, tendering and client relationships.
Job Description
Quantity Surveyor (Full or Part Time)
Location: Midlands or South East | Position: Full Time or Part Time
We are seeking to bolster our commercial team by appointing a QS to develop as our business continues to grow. Based in the Midlands or the South East, with a requirement to travel to sites across the UK, the successful candidate will work alongside our project managers and report directly to the Commercial Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years in the Heritage sector, possess strong commercial awareness and a passion for historic buildings.

Conservators Required
Location: All regions
We are looking for Senior Conservators to join our growing team. You will have proven experience in the conservation and heritage sector and ideally be ICON ACR accredited, or on the pathway to accreditation in the fields of stone, plaster, wall paintings or the decorative arts.
Our ideal candidate will be adept at undertaking condition surveys, report writing and delivering high standards of conservation work on site and in the workshop. You will be able to specify conservation interventions to objects and buildings alike.
As a Senior Conservator for Cliveden Conservation you will have a passion for conservation and be a self-motivated and proactive problem solver, who is capable of running a portfolio of projects from estimating and delivery, through to submission of treatment report
Heritage Stonemasons, Bricklayers, Plasterers & Conservators
Location: UK, including East Anglia.
Cliveden Conservation is looking to recruit experienced and improving heritage masons, plasterers, bricklayers, restorers and conservators for work on a number of projects across the UK, including East Anglia.
