Stonemasonry

We clean, repair and reinstate stonework using ‘like for like’ materials and traditional skills. Our award-winning stone carvers undertake commissions to replace missing elements and handcraft new architectural stonework and lettering. We also manage the logistics of moving, storing and relocating statuary collections and monuments.

Plaster

We stabilise and repair decorative plasterwork including ceilings, friezes, cast sculpture and decorative objects. Our accomplished craftspeople replicate historic detailing and carry out exceptional freehand modelling. We undertake mortar analysis, carry out trials and cover every aspect of both fibrous and lime based conservation and restoration.

Decorative Arts

Our highly skilled team, led by ICON-accredited conservators, carry out the repair and conservation of stone, terracotta , monuments, mosaics, sculpture, gilding and decorative surfaces and polychrome.  We provide ongoing care and maintenance of house collections and garden sculpture.

Advisory services and material analysis

We investigate the structural stability of buildings and objects to identify areas of decay and failure. Using our in-house laboratory facilities and trusted partners we further examine materials and carry out analysis. Our comprehensive Condition Reports record findings and detail the required conservation treatment.
